Uncertainty analysis metering stations
CMR provides 3rd party uncertainty evaluation and recommendations for cost effective metering systems for oil and gas export and allocation.
CMR provides 3rd party uncertainty analysis of fiscal metering systems for oil and gas, based on theoretical as well as practical in-depth instrument technology knowledge and expertise within instrument uncertainty analysis.
The metering stations surveys involves
- Oil metering stations
- Uncertainty analysis involving metering concept and setup, flow, process data, sampling procedure (manually or automatic), proving, calibration etc.
- Gas metering stations
- Uncertainty analysis involving metering concept and setup, process data, flow rate, gas composition, compressibility factor, calibration etc.
- Multiphase metering stations
- Uncertainty analysis involving metering concept and setup, process data, calibration towards test separator etc. Both top side and subsea experience.
The uncertainty evaluation of the metering systems also involves guidance and recommendations on how to meet the requirements for the different metering systems. In collaboration with both industry and authorities, CMR is involved in evaluation of cost effective metering system surveys for oil and gas export, and has contributed to handbooks and online uncertainty calculation tools available on the Norwegian Society for Oil and Gas Measurement websites.
