Sentec is an engineering company headquartered in Bergen, Norway. The primary field of business are sensors & mechanical parts for the Oil&Gas Industry, Aqua Culture and the Maritime segment.
Sentec have teamed up with CMR to develop a new low cost solution to solve a problem that has wide ranging consequences. Sentec are convinced that their products will provide good, economical solutions both for offshore and onshore application. Ronny Karlsen, Marketing Manager at Sentec says to Teknisk Ukeblad that his company is aiming for a turnover of 150 million Norwegian Kroner by 2020.
For their latest product CMR have developed and programmed a new wireless smart sensor for monitoring pressure safety valves. The new sensor can be easily deployed in the field. The accompanying Android App, also developed by scientists at CMR, communicates with the sensor via Bluetooth and relays data to a cloud server solution.
The smart sensor platform on which the sensor is based can be used for many other applications and CMR are working on a number of exciting solutions.
Alltogether we have the competence to give SENTEC what they need to create successful products.
